You are hilarious.

dylanvu:

I hate those times when your friends are joking around with you, and they take it to far. Either they repeat something thats hurtful too many times or they say something thats really hurtful.

Besides the fact that they’re your friends and they should know you and how far is too far for you, it’s twice as disappointing when they can’t tell that you’re getting upset. I hate when they can’t read the signs that you’re giving when you’re getting upset. In real life, if I’m looking down and frowning or rolling my eyes or if I say “haha” in a monotone voice when you make a “joke” or comment about me, it wasn’t funny. It hurt. Don’t repeat the f#cking joke again because you think “you just didn’t get it”. I got it

Okay, I may be your friend, but that doesn’t mean that you’re allowed to say whatever to me. My enemies can come up to me and insult me, thats expected. But when my friends come up to me and insult me, ouch, because you guys know me best. An insult from you hurts one hundred times more than an insult from someone else.

So even if sometimes I laugh, it doesn’t mean that I think your petty comments are funny.

I’m honestly over Tumblr right now.

Nothing on here really interests me anymore. The majority of people on here only care about physical appearance and ‘tumblr fame’. No one really pays attention to the quality of a blog anymore. It’s pretty much if you’re attractive, then you get followed. Simple as that. Tumblr isn’t the same anymore.

What the hell is a  ”quality” blog anyways. That’s so dumb. Does complaining about people that are clearly way better looking than you make your blog a “quality” blog ? If so, then I’m glad I don’t have a “quality” blog, cause that would make a whiny, ugly little blogger. Ouch.

Just because you get messages on Tumblr (namely anon messages), doesn’t mean that you have to answer every single one of them. Especially if you’re going to answer maybe twenty questions every ten minutes. I want to refresh my dashboard and see something more or less interesting, not a bunch of irrelevant anonymous messages.

“Anonymous” Messages.

I hate when people send themselves compliments on anonymous that they obviously sent themselves. Like the ones that point out details that other people wouldn’t notice or take the time to go on anon to ask. Messages like: “Damn I cant believe you got a 90% in math class!” or “Oh my god I saw you doing such a nice thing for this old lady yesterday, you’re such a good person” or “Oh my god you’re so Tumblr Famous you have like 1,327 followers”. First reason why I’d think you sent something like that to yourself is that I doubt anyone else would know some of these things (again, things only you would know). Secondly, I highly doubt anyone would take the time to go onto your Tumblr, and send you an anonymous message about it. If they actually know something worth complimenting about you, they’d tell you in real life, or they’d tell you in a way with their identity shown. People always want credit for when they’re complimented other people, that’s why they would not go on anonymous. Just think about that the next time you decide to send yourself a paragraph of “anonymous” love.

Another common “send to yourself” anonymous message is: upload a picture of yourself. Why would someone ask that? It’s interesting because whenever people get this message, they usually just happen to conveniently have a nice picture of themselves to upload a few seconds later. Even if you legitly get asked to upload a picture of yourself, why would you do it? Only some kind of weirdo freak fan getting off on all your other pictures would ask something like that. If you want to upload a picture of yourself, just do it. You don’t have to send yourself a weird anon message asking yourself to do it.

Those two are the most common “send to yourself” anonymous messages, but there’s a variety of ways that people fish for compliments and attention via sending themselves anonymous messages, and it’s annoying.
